am i the only person who gets a bit weepy over things that don't affect me at all? i was watching the today show this morning and they were showing footage of the Olympic preparation in Beijing. the 2008 Olympics are one year from today. so they were showing footage of the Athens Olympics. remember when paul hamm fell off the vault and dropped to 12th place and then came back on the bars to get the gold? they were showing footage, not even the real thing, and i almost lost it. who gets weepy over these athletes? seriously? they also showed the beach volleyball girls, i can't remember their names, but you know the really hot girls who won the gold in the beach volleyball? well they're preparing for Beijing and they showed footage from their gold medal win in Athens. again, i'm like on the edge of my seat about to cry for these girls who are tackling each other in the sand because they're so happy.
i'm so weird.
