The Gamecocks situation was sad. I never watch football. Even when I go to a football game, I just chat or play on my phone. I don't pay attention. I think this is really because I don't understand football. I get it overall, but there are things that I don't get. I do have one new question based on the fact that I actually watched the game. I paid attention to players' numbers so that I could try to keep track of who was who. Garcia is #5. Then, there's this guy who plays defense who is ALSO #5! How can this be!? I mean, I get that one is playing offense and the other is playing defense, but really how can there be two #5's on the team? Is it because Garcia is QB, so he doesn't count? Is it really just because they are in different categories? Oh the mystery. I talked a lot about that during the game. I think my dad was annoyed with me, and we were both annoyed that they lost in the last seconds of the game. The one game I watched too. Bad football karma maybe? Speaking of #5, when I played basketball in middle school, I was #5. How 'bout that?
More interesting was shopping with my mom. We had fun and she got me treats which I totally didn't need or really deserve. She's just awesome like that! Most exciting was the fact that I got new boots. Exhibit A:

I seriously love these boots. Love them.
Then there are these guys. Exhibit B:

Now here's the thing about these boots. They pretty much require that I wear them over my jeans. I have a problem with that though. I normally don't wear my shoes on the outside of my pants as that's a fashion trend that is well, weird to me. I'm game though; I'll totally play along. But, I always wear boot cut jeans, so that's a lot of pants to stuff in your boots. I need tips on this practice. I seriously have contemplated buying skinny jeans, another fashion trend that gives me the heebie jeebies, just so I don't have to have put forth so much effort to put the shoes on the outside of the pants. Oh, the dilemmas I face!
